Emad standing on a camel

أهلاً‎, I'm Emad Wagdy

For the last twelve years I've been tutoring people from many different countries and cultures and of all ages in Egyptian Arabic. I'm a certified GPA (Growth Participator Approach) instructor, and over the years I've learned to adapt to my students' individual learning styles; some prefer using grammar books, others learn best with visual/audio learning, and a few have taken to more unorthodox methods.

My goal is to guide you along on your Arabic journey in whichever way helps you learn and keeps you engaged. Learning a new language can seem like a scary or far-fetched goal, but try a lesson and you'll see it's a lot of fun and totally possible.

Hear from some of my students...

Emad is a very talented and most importantly patient teacher. He never gives up on you, and truly puts in a lot of effort to make you progress. His teaching is a good mix with grammar, talking, vocabulary and listening - which makes it fun to learn =) I can really recommend Emad! The best Arabic teacher I've had 😊 Christina
"I like lessons with Emad because I like learning Arabic more than English. I do fun stuff with Emad. We are doing it on the computer and I get to draw stuff." Asher (age 7)
I like Emad as a teacher because I understand him lots and his lessons are fun. Talia (age 5)
Emad has been teaching me Arabic since November, I would highly recommend him as a teacher, he explains things in a way that is easy to understand and is very patient. Emad had also started teaching my young daughter, he makes the lessons engaging and appropriate for her, she has really enjoyed his lessons. Ellie
I'm always excited to start because he makes it fun. He normally plays games in arabic and I always learn something new after each arabic lesson. Amira
